Born in State College, PA, Dr. Ethan A. Lowe earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Evansville, which he attended on a swimming scholarship. He then was accepted at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1999. After running two private practices in the Greater Cleveland area, Dr. Lowe decided that it was time this local boy came home. According to Dr. Lowe, he and his family returned to Happy Valley because the area offers a unique, small-town charm, but with big-city culture and a warm and inviting community—the perfect place to raise a family.
Dr. Lowe and his wife, Lauren, have two sons, Aidan and Graham,
and a dog and have made their home in State College. When not
practicing, Dr. Lowe enjoys spending time with his family, boating,
travel and attending Penn State sporting events.
In addition, Dr. Lowe spends several days per year furthering his professional education through various courses and conferences across the country, including the Las Vegas Institute and the prestigious Pankey Institute. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Centre Dental Society, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the professional dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta.
